Utah Opera Ensemble Program provides an integral step between graduate studies and a career. Participants spend nine months with Utah Opera developing professional skills through performances, coachings, workshops and masterclass sessions.
Resident Artists
nine-month residency, August-May
The apprentice ensemble travels throughout the state of Utah performing presentations in schools and teaching students about the art form of opera. Artists receive coaching and participate in master classes with music staff and guest artists. They perform in concerts with the Utah Symphony and outreach concerts throughout the state.
Coach/Accompanist
nine-month, August-May
The Coach/ Accompanist accompanies Resident Artists' performances, covers mainstage Opera Rehearsals, and participates in coachings with music staff and guest artists.
