Family Concert Series 2010-11
Introduce your family to great orchestral music! These Tuesday evening concerts begin at 7:00 PM and are approximately 2 hours in length.

 
Sept 28 | 7 PM Salute to YouthThierry Fischer, Conductor You and your children will be amazed with the talent and devotion span to music of young soloists playing with the Utah Symphony in our annual Salute to Youth concert.

Oct 26 | 7 PM The Haunted Symphony David Cho, Conductor Frank Oden, Poet Don your Halloween costume to compete in our annual Costume Contest! Then join Halloween poet Frank Oden on a trick-or-treat adventure to remember.

April 26 | 7 PM Classical Countdown with FOX 13's Big BuddahDavid Cho, ConductorFeel the beat of the greatest orchestral music ever written with host from FOX 13 News: Big Buddah.

May 24 | 7 PM All-Star EveningDavid Cho, Conductor Double the orchestra, double the fun! Exceptional high school instrumentalists perfrom side-by-side with their Utah Symphony mentors. One young musician will play a full concerto with the Utah Symphony.

Lollipop Concert Series 2010-11
Delightful one-hour concerts on Saturdays mornings. Each program is designed for children ages 5-12. Come early for pre-concert lobby activities.

 
December 11 | 11 AM and 12:30 PM The Polar Express with the Utah SymphonyJerry Steichen, Conductor Brent Reilly Turner, Baritone West Jordan High School Concert Choir Kelly Dehaan, Director All aboard! Take a ride on The Polar Express with the Utah Symphony. Santa will be in the Hall, and everyone will get a chance to sing favorite holiday songs. Bring your jingle-bells or car keys!

 
March 12 | 11 AM and 12:30 PM Peter and the Wolf with Ballet West IIDavid Cho, Conductor Prokofiev's beloved tale will come to life with Ballet West II dancers, and the delightful musical characterizations of a collection of animals played by our Utah Symphony musicians.
