Family Concert Series 2011-12
Introduce your family to great orchestral music! These Tuesday evening concerts begin at 7:00 PM and are approximately 2 hours in length.
Sept 27 | 7 PM Salute to Youth

You and your children will be amazed with the talent and devotion to music of young soloists playing with the Utah Symphony. Student performers selected in recent auditions are Sara Noel Bauman, Trenton Chang, Anastasia Magamedova, Michael Marsden, Mariah Sam, Elizajane Schetselaar, Rebekah Willey, Catherine Winters, and Kana Yoshigi.

Hear your favorite spooky symphonies. Plus, don your Halloween costume to compete in one of the state's largest Costume Contests! Categories for groups, adults, children, & orchestra members.
April 17 | 7 PM Magical Music of John Williams

Explore the music of John Williams, including themes from movies such as Star Wars, Indiana Jones, E.T. and Harry Potter.
May 15 | 7 PM All-Star Evening

Double the orchestra, double the fun! Exceptional high school instrumentalists perfrom side-by-side with their Utah Symphony mentors. Violinist Aubree Oliverson, age 13, will perform Tchakovsky's Violin Concerto in D Major, op 35.
Lollipops Concert Series 2011-12
Delightful one-hour concerts on Saturdays mornings. Each program is designed for children ages 5-12. Come early for pre-concert lobby activities.
